13. The tale of cactus

Once upon a time, in countryside lived an family. They were a happy family. Everyday, the father went to wood, the mother cooked and their daughter wove.
That year, the sun burned their region hardly. Rivers and lakes were dried. Fields chapped. Their village turned wild because people people found the way to leave. The girl and her parent had to left there had mothing for them to eat. Hunger and thirst took the mother's health off. At last, she died. To have money to bury her mother, the girl sold herself to a trader.
The trader had a plan he would brought her to city where the slave market was. He could get much money if he sold her there.
The father didn't want to be apart from his daughter. He prayed to go with them.
"Please! Bring me with you. I'm healthy and will be useful for you."

The trader agreed.
"Alright! You will take care of slaves and camels." said the trader.
That's a long and hard journey. They had gone on many roads, come to different countries, experienced customs and habbits they had never seen before. They went in desert after that. The climate there was too harsh. They had to stand hotness of powerful sun and sands which were always above their head and under their feet. Besides, the cold covered whole desert, nearly froze all things when the sun left. The father who had never crossed desert couldn't stand the harsh climate. He fell ill, couldn't follow them.
"Leave him." requested the trader heartlessly, "He has no use now."
"Please! Don't leave my father." screamed the girl, kneeing down.
People left the father, though the girl screamed praying them not to do that. The trader ordered people to put her on camel's back then they left. They crowd of people went away. The father was till lying there, exhausted.
One day got passed, the crowd continued going deeply in desert. After mist, an ancient castle appeared.
"I have crossed desert many times but I haven't seen this castle." said the trader.
He carefully asked people to stop then sent someto approached the castle. Suddenly, winds blew up and sand-storm appeared. All happened to fast people didn't manage to hide. They was buried under the sea of sands. The girl, on other hand, had no harm. From distance, a handsome man approached to her.
"You're so beautifull." said the man, "Do you want to marry with me and become the queen of this castle."
"Sir, you must be a god kind-hearted and powerful." she said, "You did feel pity for me and free me from slave-traders. Please! Let me go. I want to find my father. I can't leave him alone now."
"No." he said, "Now you're mine."
He trembled then seconds later, he transformed into a giant python. The python prisoned her, waited for wedding day. Because of love she gave her father, she cried. Day by day, tears dropped on ground till all her tears had gone. She fainted, fell down on ground.
It's like a magic her tears threaded one's way pass the prison, silently crossed the desert and came to the father's place. Because of tears, the father revived. He stood up and found the way to meet his daughter. He went and went. At last, he was lost in the vast desert. He fell down because of hunger. Then, he changed into a crubby cactus. The cactus still stood there alone for many years. It's shape of the father who was waiting for his daughter.
It's a sad story but I like it.

Bài 14: Danh từ đếm được số ít và số nhiều và quy tắc thêm chuyển từ danh từ đếm được số ít sang số nhiều.

      Như chúng ta đã biết danh từ thường phân thành nhiều loại nhưng về mặt ngữ pháp bạn chỉ cần biết danh từ gồm hai loại: danh từ đếm được và danh từ không đếm được. Về cơ bản mình sẽ nói qua một chút về danh từ đếm được và danh từ không đếm được vì bài này chủ yếu xoay quanh danh từ đếm được. Về bản chất danh từ đếm được là những từ bạn có thể kiểm soát nó bằng mặt số lượng tức là bạn có thể đếm 1, 2, 3 cái gì đó và nó có sự phân biệt giữa số ít (một) và số nhiều (hơn một) của loại từ này trong ngữ pháp của câu. Ví dụ: I have  bananas và  I have  a banana  có sự khác biệt rõ ràng, bạn có nhận thất mạo từ  “a”  ở trước banana không? Thêm nữa Bananas  are  yellow và a banana  is  yellow bạn có nhận thấy động từ đi kèm có sự khác biệt không; danh từ số nhiều sẽ tương đương vói ư chỉ ngữ they và danh từ số ít sẽ tương đương vói it. De was a young boy. His parent was servants of a landlord. Every morning, De led landlord’s cattle to meadow and brought them back at nightfall. De used to be excited in playing with his fellows and when he was in his game he didn’t care anything.
