GIỠ HAO JRANG chapter 2

GiỡTuKrong turned to DamPhan.
“You try first”, he said, “This tree’s high as hell I think it’s dificult to climb”.
DamPhan stood up. He extended his arms and held on the tree and started climbing. Each step he climbed higher and higher.
All people standing out looked up at him and cheered him up.
DamPhan got highly on the tree but he only reached to the fourth branch before he felt exhauted and fell down.
GiỡTuKrong turned to GiỡHreng and said:
“Your turn GiỡHreng. Try your best and get highest you can. Don’t make people standing here disapointed.”
GiỡHreng stood up. He took his machete and then he extended his huge arms, held on the trunk and started he climbed up with strong legs pushing against the truck. When his arms held on the trunk tightly, his legs pushed against the trunk to move his body up and when he hold the trunk by his legs, his arms reached up and held on. He got higher and higher but he only reached the half of the tree’s height before he exhausted and fell down.
GiỡHreng had a sort of breath out
“Gosh! This tree’s high as hell I have never seen a tree that’s high as that since I was born”, said GiỡHreng.
GiỡTuKrong turned to people while he was preparing to climb.
“Now, my turned”, he said, “GiỡHreng and DamPhan gave up. I also don’t better than them much people don’t hope a lot but I will try my best.”
GiỡTuKrong brought his machete on his belt. As like GiỡHreng and DamPhan he started holding on the trunk by his trong arms and legs. He got higher and higher.
People who were standing on ground cheered him up.
“Move! Move! Move GiỡTuKrong”, they yelled.
At last, GiỡTuKrong reached the top of the reaching-sky tree. From the top of that tree, he look down around and watched things on ground. Sea was in east immensity and crystal under sunlight. Fields was in the west endlest surrounded by mountain ranges. He could see his hometown, his village it’s so beatifull from where he was staying.
“It’s amazing our all things are so beautiful from here”, he screamed that people who standing under could hear him. He continnued gaving praise to thing and thing but people couldn’t see it. They sceamed up:
“GiỡTuKrong you can see all the things but how we can see them when we stand here under.”
GiỡTuKrong feared that the branches would drop on people’s heads so he shouted down:
“Everybody! Get away. I start cut down the branches and when all the branches was cut you come and take the longans. Then you can get as many as longans you want unless you are not enough strong to bring them”.
Hundreds of people, thousand of people steped backward away from the longan tree. GiỡTuKrong started cutting. He cut branches on top first. When all branches were cut down, he screamed to call others.
“Everybody! Girls and boys, men and women come and pick up longans”.
Hundreds of people, thousands of people made their ways running to branches on ground, picked up longans. They ate and gave them, longans praises they were delicious. And also they praised GiỡTuKrong if they did have GiỡTuKrong they wouldn’t have had those delicious longans.
“GiỡTuKrong is best. GiỡTuKrong is bravest. GiỡTuKrong is son of God. Handsome and bright as sunlights”, said people.
People had filled full their stomach by longans and now they started picked longans and put in their rattan baskets. All rattan baskets were filled but there were still many longans there.
GiỡTuKrong from the tree screamed down:
“Everybody! Eat as much as you can and get your illness decrease. If longans here over, we will find another longan tree. If you can eat all of there longans, we can bring them to home and divide to others. Tomorrow and tomorrow of tomorrow we can go and find other longan trees which had longans more delicous.”
People happily picked longans and ate. They sang, talked and danced whole the fun day.
BokKiekLaDiaKlaKong was in the west where the sun down, he looked toward the east and realized the longan tree which yesterday was still green, now had no branches.
BokKiekLaDiaKlaKong who had the body as big as a mountain. His teeth looked like shield and pointed. His beard reached on ground with colored beards, red, black, white, yellow… BokKiekLaDiaKlaKong looked terrible.
BokKiekLaDiaKlaKong hurriedly ran toward the longan tree to see that if the thing was true. BokKiekLaDiaKlaKong dragged his beard which swept along his way. He cried that his cry spread out whole of the forest and echoed when it’s against mountains. He got passed the forest and then the got nearer the longan tree. The more he got near the longan tree the more he see it clearly all its branches were cut down, bare.
BokKiekLaDiaKlaKong kept running and crying. He scolded:
“Bastard! Who, who dare to steal my longans. Who? If I know who, I will tear him in pieces”.
At last, BokKiekLaDiaKlaKong went to the longan tree. At there he saw hundreds of people, thousands of people, girls and boys, men and women, young and old, were picking up longans. Hundreds of rattan baskets, thousands of rattan basket was full of red rippe longans. BokKiekLaDiaKlaKong turned angery, he shouted:
