The fighting of Giông, GiỡTuKrong, DamPhan, GiỡHreng, MaKlen and MaJong,
LingNgoa, RơNung and BokKiekLaDiaKlaKong, AtauYangBul turned much more fierce
than ever. Though LingNgoa and RơNung were new born children, they were strong
and combative. While they were fighting against AtauYangBul, they saw their
mothers coming so they dropped their shields, the baskets and knife and ran
toward their mothers.
“Father and uncles help us fight to BokKiekLaDiaKlaKong and AtauYangBul.
We rest a while”, they said.
Then, DrangMai and BiaVai hugged their son on their chests. They breastfed
the children and gave them warm kisses. Later, both LingNgoa and RơNung felt
full they turned back where their father and uncle were fighting.
“Hey brother!”, said RơNung to LingNgoa, “Let’s fight them and show our
mothers how we are strong and brave”.
Then, they two grabbed their shields (the baskets) and their knives dived
into BokKiekLaDiaKlaKong and AtauYangBul. The children were very strong they fought
tirelessly against BokKiekLaDiaKlaKong and AtauYangBul. They punched, kicked,
wrestled, burked their enemies.
DrangMai and BiaVai stood on groud watching them fighting. They both felt
surprising.
“Since the old days, no one have heard or seen the children like them. New
born babies, red kin, soft bones can fight and do it better than any adult I
know. They are amazing.” said DrangMai and BiaVai.
“Giông! Who is Giông? We want to meet him”, called DrangMai and BiaVai
together.
Then, Giông moved toward them. He was so august that DrangMai and BiaVai
stood still. They looked him from his head to his feet without blink. Few
minutes later, DrangMai and BiaVai started talking.
“I had heard people said that Giông was handsome, powerful and talented,
bright like lake surface, gentle like leaves in forest, flexible like spider,
and beautiful like yellow bee. And now when I meet you, see you by my eyes, I
can say that all things I heard about you is true you are the most handsome,
and talented in the world. You are offspring of God”.
“Hey Giông!”, DrangMai started, “We had not seen before. We hadn’t talked
to the other. LingNgoa and RơNung are the children who don’t have father. Who
did you say they were your sons?”.
“We had never lain on a same bed, had never used a same blanket. Why did
you say that we both were your wives? Or because we are bad women who gave
birth to children without husbands so you hated and so you could say anything
about us”, said BiaVai.
“We both feel so angry. If we were men, we would fight aginst you”, said
DrangMai and BiaVai.
Giông laughed as he heard DrangMai and BiaVai said. Later, he stopped and
told them about whole the thing.
“Long time ago, I heard people rumored on whole TuKrongVongKrẽm where I
live that PơlungHlaAnHao and PơlungHlaAnhẽm have two beautiful girls, the most beautiful
girls in the world. Then, one day, I found the way to your villages. I arrived
to DrangMai’s village first but it’s too late, at midnight. I didn’t know
anyone there and so that I hesitated. I didn’t want people thought that I came
to annoy them. Therefore, I stopped standing outside and threw a mango into your
millstone, DrangMai. That’s my mango.”
“After that, I left and went to your village, BiaVai”, he added, looking
to BiaVai, “When I arrived to your village it’s also midnight and all things
happened like before. I stood outside and threw the remaining mango into BiaVai’s
millstone”.
Giông’s afraid that DrangMai and BiaVai didn’t understand so he continued.
“Before I three those mango I had prayed God that if I, GiồngTuKrongVongKrẽm,
was talented and have power of God, I could made you both follow God’s thought.
You both would eat those mangoes and you both would be pregnant. DrangMai would
give birth to LingNgoa and BiaVai would give birth to RơNung.”
“Do you remember”, Giông continued, “the nights you couldn’t sleep
wanting to eat mangoes. And when you woke up, each of you found a mango in your
millstone. You both ate those mangoes and gave birth to the children, two sons
as like I’ve just said”, stared at DrangMai and BiaVai, “You both prengant and
gave birth to those children because there had my golden water on those
mangoes. So the children have their father and you both have husband. It’s me,
GiôngTuKrongVongKrẽm. We have never met, had never slept on a same bed but what
I prayed came true that mean God want us to be husband and wives.”
“I had planned that I would come to you and asked you both to become my
wives after this fighting but this fighting still doesn’t finish while you both
have come here. I’m so lucky that I can explain you both all things”.
The anger seemed to disappear after DrangMai and BiaVai heard Giông told.
They loved Giông than ever. Though, they didn’t competely believe what Giông
said.
“If what you said is true, we are both pleasant. We anly scare that only
your joke”, said DrangMai and BiaVai.
Then, they all kept talking. They are happy. Later, Giông told them.
“Don’t worry about our sons. We will take care of them. After this
fighting, we will come back”, said Giông.
“Ah! If you can, we need your help”, added Giông, “it’s AtauYangBul he
only show us his shadow that we can not hurt him. The fightitng will not have
the end if we can’t see his real body. Do you have any idea helping us find out
his body?”
“OMG! Here GiôngTuKrongVongKrẽm talented and powerful who don’t know how
to fight against ghosts”, screamed DrangMai and BiaVai. Then, continued
talking, “all ghosts scare charcoals and gingers. If you fight against them you
have to both fight to them and throw charcoals and gingers toward them and
then, their bodies will appear”.
Then DrangMai and BiaVai gave Giông a lot of charcoals and gingers.
“You and the others stay here fighting to BokKiekLaDiaKlaKong and AtauYangBul.
We and BiaBơngBơh, BiaSơngLong, BiaSơdrăngMatAnar will go and find two sisters
of AtauYangBul, BiaBơla and BiaBơlang. We will fight them”, said DrangMai and
BiaVai.
Then, they called LingNgoa and SơNung. They breastfed their sons before
they left. After that, DrangMai, BiaVai, BiaBơngBơh, BiaSơngLong and BiaSơdrăngMatAnar
set off they went for their fight. Their backs gradually disappeared from
sight.
