GIỠ HAO JRANG chapter 7

“Let’s break there protection layers”Giông, GiỡHreng talked to the others, “though Giông, GiỡHreng’re lowly, though our strength’re not stronger than anyone and though we had heart empty, we will try –never scare, never turn back”.
“Let’s start”, Giông added, “GiỡTuKrong, you are big brother -- you first, stand up and step on ground and try to break there walls.”
“Let it there” said GiỡTuKrong, standing up, “See how much I GiỡTuKrong can do”.
Then GiỡTuKrong grabed his knife brass-handle, silvery blade which was curved and long as like a rainbow after rain and started breaking. Short time later, all the walls, eight silvery walls and nine iron walls were smashed. The crowd of people continued going. They arrived to the layer which was full of cobras with their bodies big as bigs drums. They lied there waiting for any stranger who only needed to aproach, would get deadly bites immediately.
“Your turn, GiỡHreng”, said GiỡTuKrong.
“All right”, said GiỡHreng, “I GiỡHreng will break this layer I don’t care there cobras”.
Then, GiỡHreng took his knife and startred cutting. He cut cobras afore then behind, right side then left side. He cut continuously. Very fast, all of cobras had died the layer was broken. The crowd of people continued going they went on a winding road, they got pass corners and got away them. Then, they met a stream with boiling water, steam went up reaching on sky.
“Your turn Giông”, said GiỡHreng, “Only if the stream dry, we can get pass it”.
“Everyone get away”, said Giông, “Though I’m not good, I will make whole this boiling water vanish”.
As soon as, Giông took out his hexagonal rod and started whipping on the stream. He whipped some times and they boiling water suddenly vanish, leaving no drop there.
The crowd of people continued. Then, they met the layer with gigantic rocks which reached sky.
“Omg! It’s horrible”, screamed Giông, GiỡTuKrong, DamPhan, GiỡHreng, MaKlen, MaJong. No one of them had ever seen rocks which were gigantic like that.
“Hey DamPhan”, said Giông, “You try and see if you can break this layer or not”.
DamPhan went ahead he stretched.
“All right”, said DamPhan, “Let it to me and see how much I DamPhan, a straw puppetry can do”.
Then, DamPhan took out a silvery hammer as big as a big drum and started banging on those gigantic rocks. There had thunder noises whenever he banged on. The big thick rocks reaching on sky started collapsing.
The crowd of people continued going. They went on a winding road which led the to a place there was only darkness. They couldn’t see the sun, ground, things around and including people beside them.
“Omg! I can’t see anything. How can we continued go as our eyes can’t see”, said people.
“Let me try”, said GiỡTuKrong, “I GiỡTuKrong will never give up”.
Then GiỡTuKrong took out his silvery shield. He started dancing. For a while, winds and cyclones appreared. Stronger and stronger they made dark clouds which were covering that place vanish. The sun appeared and shone everything. Things there turned beautiful, birds started singing. People got again their sights they continued going.
People had gone very long, passing winding. At last, they met the dead stream which was full of dark water stinky with many of corpses there. Giông, GiỡTuKrong, DamPhan, GiỡHreng, MaKlen, MaJong stopped they thought but they couldn’t find out how they could get pass the dead river.
At last, they had no choice but to wade pass it. Their flesh had rotten as soon as it sank into the dark water. They were forced to turned back, got up on the shore and cured. They lathered medicine on their bodies and later their injuries were cured.
“How can you get pass it”, said Giông, “We will be rotten before we can reach the other side”.
The others kept silent. At last, Giông got an idea. He said the others to throw a rope to the other side and followed the rope to get pass that river. People did and later, they got their feet on the other side.
They continued going, forgetting their hunger, their thirst and their lassitude. At last, they met bamboo trees, gigantic and thorny. The gigantic bamboo trees reached on sky.
“MaKlen, MaJong you try”, said GiỡTuKrong.
“All right”, replied MaKlen, MaJong, “We’ll do”.
