Bài 10: Cấu trúc đặc biệt theo sau bằng một gerund (danh động từ)

Thật ra mình định viết một bài có tựa “to” nhưng không phải “to” nhưng thấy vẫn còn có chút vấn đề liên quan đến gerund nên mình viết nốt bài này rồi bài sau sẽ trình bày phần “to” mà không phải “to”.

Có một số cấu trúc đặc biệt được theo sau bởi một gerund nhằm diễn tả một ý nghĩa nhất định. Sau đây mình sẽ liệt kê. Hy vọng nó có ích cho các bạn.

special expressions followed by gerund (danh động từ)
	Nghĩa của hai câu dưới đây tương tự nhau đều có nghĩa là có được niềm vui khi làm gì đó
had fun + gerund	I had fun playing football
had a good time + gerund	I had a good time playing football
	Nghĩa của 4 câu dưới đây tương tự nhau có nghĩa là cảm thấy khó khăn trong việc gì đó.
had trouble + gerund	I had trouble finding a job
had difficulty + gerund	I had difficlty finding a job
had a hard time + gerund	I had a had time finding a job
had a difficult time + gerund	I had a difficult time finding a job
	Các câu dưới đay có nghĩa sử dụng hoặc lãng phí bao nhiên tiền hoặc thời gian làm gì đó.
spend + money/time + gerund	I spends most of my time studying
waste + money/time + gerund	I waste lot of my time watching tv

sat + a place + gerund	I sat at her desk writing a letter
stand + a place + gerund	I stood there wondering what to do next
lie + a place + gerund	I am lying in bé reading a book
	find and catch ở đay có nghĩa phát hiện ra việc gì đó, với catch thì biểu hiện rằng người phát hiện ra đấy không vui hoặc giận giứ khi tìm ra việc đó
find + pro(noun) + ing	when I walked into my room, I found An using my phone
catch + pro(noun) + gerund	When I walked into my roon, I caught a thief looking through my desk drawers.

Chào các bạn! Bởi vì mình có hay dich truyện và một vài thứ linh tinh khác nên thường bắt gặp ngày, tháng năm. Thật ra khôngkhó để sử dụng đúng nhưng mỗi lần cần đến mình lại phải tra lại tra cứu. Once upon a time, there had a little girl named Tam. Her mother died early so her father decided to remarry on purpose the stepmother would take care of his little daughter.
