Bài 6: Phía sau một động từ phần 5

Vậy là mình đã liệt kê các nhóm động từ mà được theo sau bằng các động từ khác ở các dạng :
1.      Gerund
2.      Infinitive
3.      Pro(nouon) + infinitive
4.      Infinitive hoặc gerund (có những từ có sự khác nhau về nghĩa, có những từ thì không khi theo sau là gerund và infinitive)

Sau đây mình xin liệt kê các động từ gọi là perception verb có thể được theo sau bằng simple form hoặc V-ing form. Không có sự khác biệt nhiều khi sử dụng simple form hoặc V-ing form trừ việc V-ing form đem lại cho người nghe rằng việc gì đấy đang diễn ra.
VD: 
I saw my friend run down the street
I saw my friend running down the street.
Về cơ bản hai câu này không có sự khác biệt nhiều và câu thứ hai thường được hiểu theo kiểu : I saw my friend while she was running down the street. Chỉ khi thực gắn vào ngữ cảnh thì đôi lúc ta vẫn thấy sự khác biệt.
VD:
When walked into the room, I heard my friend singing.
I heard a famous singer sing at concert last night.
Ở câu thứ nhất việc sing (hát) bắt đầu trước khi người kia tiếp nhận và đang tiếp tục. còn ở câu thứ hai người tiếp nhận nghe từ khi bắt đầu tới khi ca sĩ kết thúc việc hát. Tức chỉ khác nhau về thời gian nhân thức (perception). Về cơ bản thì bạn dùng cả hai cấu trúc thì luôn đúng nghĩ pháp, căn cứ vào ngữ cảnh thì có một chút khác biệt đấy là sự khác biệt về thời gian người nói nhận biết và thời gian diễn ra của sự việc được nhận biết. Về perception verb goomg những từ sau đây:

perception verbs followed by simple form or v-ing form

I saw my friend run/ running down the street

watch
I watch people go/going cross the street 
look at
he looked at his son play/playing
observe
She obseved her daughter sing/singing in the theater
hear
I hear a bird sing/singing
listen to
 I listen to birds sing/singing

 I felt the ground stemble/streambling
smell

List of Vietnamese fairy tales

Vietnamese  fairy tales includes many stories as Tam and Cam; So Dua; Hundred – knot- bamboo tree... which were spread in folk. Each stories has  its own meaning. I think I can not translate exactly each word into english but I will try my best to convey its meaning to you. Hope you like them!

Thuong Luong

Thuong Luong was common name of creatures which are in people’s imagines. They are distant relatives of dragons. While dragons are worshiped as gods, the gods ruled rivers and sea and the gods can make rains, Thuong Luong is not respected as dragons that the creatures are too amorous, combative, wild, and have bad behaviors. All most of them like to harm people.

Once  upon a time, in Ha-bi village lived a man named Yet Kieu who worked as a fisher. One night, while he was strolling along the seaside he saw two large buffaloes fighting on the beach. He sprinted to poke them apart. Buffalos were beaten painful they ran toward to the sea then disappeared. “Those creatures aren’t normal”, he thought then he turned back where buffaloes had been fighting and picked up some fur they had left. He gazed them then suddenly swallowed them down. From that he had the strength that nobody could fight against. Especially, he could stay in the water longer than any people in the world. Crow and Peacock

Once  upon a time, both Crow and Peacock were best friends and had same feather colors, gray. They knew themselves were ugly so they didn’t appear front of other birds. Being  royal concubine seemed to be god’s setting for Thi Yen Le, a country girl. She was born in Tho Loi village (in Duong Quang, Thuan Thanh which now is Gia Lam, Hanoi).
