196. Thứ quý nhất của cuộc đời

Tại một làng chài nọ, có một chàng thanh niên hiền lành và tốt bụng, làm việc rất chăm chỉ. Ngày nọ, trên đường về nhà, chàng lượm được một cái chai nhỏ. Vì tò mò, chàng tìm cách tháo bằng được nắp chai ra. Bất ngờ từ trong chai bay ra một làn khói trắng và vị thần khổng lồ xuất hiện. 

Vị thần liền cất tiếng nói: “Đừng sợ! Ngươi là ân nhân của ta, ta cho ngươi ba điều ước. Nào! Hãy ước đi hỡi chàng trẻ tuổi”.

Ước gì nhỉ? Chàng đắn đo và trả lời: “Thần cho tôi thời gian để suy nghĩ nhé!”.

- Được thôi. Từ đây đến chiều ngươi phải nghĩ ra đấy.

Chàng đi dọc theo bãi biển và suy nghĩ. Trên đường đi chàng gặp một đám trẻ con hồn nhiên, vô tư chơi đùa say mê. Nhìn những gương mặt thiên thần, chàng thấy cuộc đời mới đẹp làm sao. Đi tiếp, chàng gặp một chàng trai trẻ liều mình cứu những người nghèo khổ thoát khỏi một nhóm trộm cướp. Tấm lòng nghĩa hiệp đó khiến chàng khâm phục.

Chàng lại tiếp tục đi và thấy một đám đông vây quanh một cụ già. Thì ra có một con cá voi mắc cạn trôi dạt vào bờ. Mọi người định giết nó để lấy thịt bán. Cụ già nói: “Những gì thuộc về biển cả hãy trả về cho biển cả”. Thế là chú cá voi được cứu sống.

Hoàng hôn buông xuống. Vị thần hiện ra hỏi: “Ngươi đã nghĩ ra chưa?”. Chàng trai trả lời: “Vâng, xin thần hãy ban cho tôi sự ngây thơ, hồn nhiên của trẻ thơ; một trái tim nghĩa hiệp, dũng cảm của tuổi trẻ và một tấm lòng nhân ái, vị tha của người từng trải”.

Vị thần nói: “Hỡi chàng trai, ngươi làm ta bất ngờ đấy, bởi vì ngươi đã nhận ra những thứ quí giá nhất của cuộc đời”.

Vietnamese  fairy tales includes many stories as Tam and Cam; So Dua; Hundred – knot- bamboo tree... which were spread in folk. Each stories has  its own meaning. I think I can not translate exactly each word into english but I will try my best to convey its meaning to you. Hope you like them!

Tam and Cam

Once upon a time, there had a little girl named Tam. Her mother died early so her father decided to remarry on purpose the stepmother would take care of his little daughter. The stepmother gave birth to a girl, named Cam after that. Then, her father died after few years. Tam had to live with her stepmother and her sister, Cam. Once upon a time, there had a boy who was poor, had no field. Therefore, he found the way to work for a landlord. He was healthy, worked hard and great in working so the landlord wanted him to work for him long time without any pay. One day, he called the boy to come. "You are honest and healthy. If you agree to work for me in three years without pay, I will let you marry with my only daughter after that." The boy agreed. He believed completely. He worked very hard, help the landlord turn richer that he could build more houses, buy more fields and cattles. Then, time passed. Three years nearly crossed, the boy always remembered his master's promise while his master, the landlord didn't want to do his promise. Chào các bạn! Bởi vì mình có hay dich truyện và một vài thứ linh tinh khác nên thường bắt gặp ngày, tháng năm. Thật ra khôngkhó để sử dụng đúng nhưng mỗi lần cần đến mình lại phải tra lại tra cứu.
