Once upon a time, in the country of roses there had a boy whose name was Stupid. Stupid had mission that was taking care of king’s garden. The garden grew full of roses. The king had a beautiful daughter and her name was Rose. Rose was person who loved roses very much so every day Stupid was ordered to bring a bouquet of roses to her. However, Stupid didn’t know how to make a bouquet so he asked his princess, Rose to bring her a rose each day.
“Dear Princess”, said Stupid, “Could you allow me to bring you a rose each day?”
Firstly, Rose was not happy with that idea but Stupid always tried his best to bring her the most beautiful rose each day that made her happy.
Stupid had no thing but to take care of roses every day so he spent all daytime in the garden watering roses. Sometime, others asked him to do other things but he always replied.
“Sorry, but I will ruin it”, he said.
Then, people left and also because of that Stupid had no friend. Every day he only stayed and worked lonely. However, Stupid seemed not feel bored, with him every day was the beautiful day and taking care of roses was the most interesting job he had ever done. He always felt happy when he was in that garden.
Princess who always had a rose each day also felt surprised.
“Wow! Look!” yelled princess, “How does he make such beautiful roses? How can a stupid?”
One day, she decided to go to the garden where Stupid was. Stupid was watering roses. She approached him in silent. It made he startled. He dropped the sprinkler on his hand. Water was splashed and dropped on her dress.
“My dear princess”, said Stupid, “I’m so so sorry. I’m too clumsy”.
“I will forgive you Stupid”, said Rose, “but you have to teach me planting”.
“You like planting, my princess”, said Stupid surprisingly, “It’s simply”.
Then, Stupid started talking. He talked as thought he met a best friend for long time they hadn’t seen. He told her all things he knew while she also spent much interest in his sayings she listened carefully. Then, his eyes caught her interested eyes for a second and only that made him confused. Another time he dropped his sprinkler.
“Sorry princess for my stupid”, said Stupid.
“You are stupid” said Rose, “but what you say is interesting. I’ll back tomorrow”.
Rose went back castle while Stupid was back to his job watering roses. He both watered and sang. No one had ever heard Stupid sang. Yeah, he had never sang before but today something inside him changed it made him felt happy and so then he sang.
Tomorrow, he woke up earlier than ever. He cleaned the path between flower beds. He watered roses. He caught and killed worms. Yeah, he did the thing by his heart and by the love which was growing in his heart. However, Rose didn’t come that day. The day was the special day. The king organized a party and people who participated in were princes and young kings from neighbor countries. Rose didn’t want to come the party she didn’t wear her prom dress.
“Sorry princess, my dear princess but that’s king’s order you have to come the party”, said a servant.
The king wanted to find a husband for her and the thing was informed to all people there. All people felt eager because Rose was such a beautiful girl and they didn’t waiting long time. Rose appeared in a white dress, wore a crown which was made of beautiful roses. She looked like an angel. Some people dropped their goblets while some forgot what they were doing, including musicians forgot to play. All of them stared at her. Each one of them danced with Rose but she seemed not like anyone. The party was going to end. The king didn’t have much hope about one groom. There was the appearance of a prince. The person mounted on a white steed wearing a suit of silver armor. He had blond hair which looked like sun lights lying on his shoulders. The eyes of him looked very warm and full of bravery. And when he smiled it’s liked you tasted ton of sugar, very very sweet. He land on ground one he reached the gate’s castle. He headed toward where Rose was.
“Sorry” he said by a warm voice, “I’m late”.
The heart of princess. Yes, the first time in her life her hear beat so fast like that. He face went red and she felt confused. They danced under the gentle of the waltz. The prince who had gone cross many places in the world told her, Rose, about the strange things he had ever meet, beautiful places he had ever landed and what he had done when he was there. His stories seemed to have no ends and the time seemed not to be their caring. Till the stars lit up dark sky, Stupid and roses had fallen in deep sleep, the prince said goodbye her and left. Rose turned back her room and asked people to call Stupid. She felt happy and honestly he had fallen in love with him, the prince on white steed. And, the person she wanted to share at one was Stupid. Poor Stupid who was sinking in dream was waken.
“Do you know how to decorate castle, Stupid”, said Rose happily, “I want it beautifully in tomorrow. It will be a surprise for him, my prince. Tomorrow he’ll be back”.
“My dear princess what prince… Ah”, Stupid stopped for a while, “I will decorate castle by all roses in garden. We will have castle with many many of roses. It’s must be magnificent”.
“I see. I see”, yelled Rose, “This is a great idea. You aren’t too stupid. But, I’m afraid you can’t do it in night”.
“I will try”, said Stupid.
Stupid left. He spent whole the night cutting roses and decorated castle. His clothes and body was wet because of dew and sweat. The time sun went up was also the time the castle was decorated. Stupid fell in sleep immediately after that. When Rose woke up, she didn’t believe in her eyes. The castle now looked so great. The castle looked like the castle which only appeared in fairy tales, so beautiful. She walked around and met Stupid. He was sleeping by a stone pillar.
“Stupid! Wake… Wake”, said Rose.
“I’m sorry, princess. I’m too sleepy”, said Stupid, “I will finish it now”.
“You don’t need to do anymore. It’ve been so beautiful”, said Rose.
Stupid took out a gasp. He felt relieved because his princess didn’t blame him. He went back his garden where there remained roots while Rose headed to a window and looked forward to distant mountains where the prince would appear. When he came she would lead him around admiring the rose castle and he again would talk her about his adventures. However, that day the prince didn’t come and there was only his servant who came and gave her a letter.
“…My dear, my princess and my love, Rose I can’t come back as I promised. It’s because of war. My country and people need me to participate in the war. We will not see in long time. I don’t like that and I know you also don’t like that but we have no choice other. Time will prove our love. See you later.
Tornado…”
Rose’s very sad tears ran on her cheeks. “I will wait. You have to come back”, said Rose.
One week, one month then one year passed but Rose didn’t receive any news of him. He was like winds, leaving and vanishing. Rose used to stand lonely by window looked toward distant mountains and waited for the appearance of her lover. However, it’s always happened that her lover didn’t appear while sun always downed.
One year had passed and Rose also had not received a rose for one year but she seemed not to care her mind that time only filled full of her lover’s images. Then, one day, when she woke up, a beautiful rose had been laid on her window. She picked up the rose and suddenly it seemed somebody just woke her up. She remembered to Stupid, remembered to the garden and other things which made her happy. Rose found the way toward the garden and when she arrived to what she saw was not roots. Instead of roots there were roses, beautiful roses which made the garden be filled full by red color. Stupid was doing his job and when he saw her, he another time dropped his sprinkler.
“I’m sorry, my dear princess”, said Stupid, “I’ve tried my best but I can not get the garden beautiful like it before”.
“Oh no! It’s so magical”, Rose said, “Tell me how you can. I mean how you can revive them, the roses”.
That’ the first time a person asked him how and besides, she was a princess. Stupid felt so happy he grined it looked his mouth nearly reached to his ears. Naively that is the word to talk about him now. Then, Stupid started talking. It must be one year he didn’t talked to anyone. He taught her carefully. Rose started working as a gardener under his direction. The thing made Rose felt relieved. Every day, Rose came to the garden and took care of roses herself. Firstly, Stupid didn’t understand why but lately he realized what Rose was doing was relieving her mind. However, Stupid still felt happy beacause there had a person who listened and replied him. He tried his best to make Rose feel better whenever she came. One day, he told her about roses’s meanings.
“White rose symbolizes true friendship”, said Stupid, “Red rose symbolizes passionate love. Yellow rose symbolizes…”
“What about blue rose?” asked Rose suddenly.
“Blue rose”, repeated Stupid, “Uh” he stopped for a while, “Blue rose symbolizes endless love but it doesn’t exist, my princess”.
“Why does it symbolize endless love?” Rose asked, ignoring Stupid.
“It’s a fairy tale, my princess”, said Stupid, “People told that if any one plant rose by whole his or her heart. A blue rose will appeared. It is a magical rose which will give the person one wish but it’s not real”.
“Yes, I wish the war will end and my prince will come back to me”, Rose yelled happily.
“My dear princess”, said Stupid, “I believe that your wish will come true. Nothing is impossible”
“I believe you” said Rose hopefully.
From that time, Rose spent whole her time to care her tree but it’s not normal her tree didn’t have any rose though it’s planted for long time. There’s a truth Stupid had never said to anyone what he talked about blue rose was only a lie. It’s biggest mistake of his life. The thing always made him scared. He scared that one day the tree of Rose will get a normal rose. He scared that Rose will be unhappy and disappointed. All the things urged him to attempt find a blue rose in thousands of roses in the garden but he could not. It had no blue rose there. The more time he tried to find, the more he got disappointment. One night, Stupid was still in garden.
“Stupid, why d’you look so sad?” asked a whispering voices.
“Who?” said Stupid looking around.
“We are roses”, answered the voice.
“Roses”, Stupid raised his voice, “You can speak”.
“You are stupid. We always try to talk to you but you ‘ve never heard us”, said the voice, “What makes you sad Stupid?”.
“I lied my princess”, he said sadly, “I’ve said to her about blue rose but it’s a lie. I shouldn’t have given that hope”.
“Stupid, what are you thinking?” said the voice, “We will tell you the thing that what you have told your princess was true. It’s real”.
“What?” yelled Stupid, “Blue rose is real and its magic is also real. And you know how to create a blue rose, right?”
“Yes, we know” said the voice, “but we won’t tell you”.
“Why? Please”, Stupid screamed.
“Stupid, you’ re so foolish. What do you do all the thing for?”, said the voice.
“I want her to have blue rose. I want her wish to come true. I don’t want her sad and disappointed. Yeah, I only want her happy”, said Stupid.
“Stupid, we don’t want to tell you though it’s a little but we will tell you. We see this is your wish”, said the voice. Then, one rose whispered into his ear. It told him the thing only he heard and understand. No one knew what he had heard. It’s only thing that his face turned dull after hearing. He looked up to sky and smiled. Though the smile looked stupid but it had to be the warmest smile in the world.
The next morning, when Rose woke up, a maid hurried coming to her.
“My dear princess”, she said hurriedly, “your wish’s come true. A blue rose in garden”.
Rose didn’t believe in her ears. She hurried to the garden and saw. It’s a real blue rose, beautiful and magical. Dew drops were still on it and made it more much beautiful under sun lights. Rose got the blue rose and put it on her heart. She wished but she still didn’t do that thing.
“Prince back, he win”, roared some people to inform her.
Her heart seemed to be broken one more time but this time it’s broken because of happiness. She left the garden and hurried to the front gate of castle. She looked toward the distant mountain and saw. It’s her prince and his servants. She rushed into him and he landed down. The hugged the other tightly.
“My love, I miss you”, said the prince. The war had suck out almost of his soul people who companioned with him thought that they would never heard loving words from his mouth but after that he came back and the first words he said were he missed her. Though his saying was full of weariness, he loved her.
“I’m nearly in hopeless. Do you know?” she said, “but a magical thing comes to me. See! This is a blue rose. It itself bring you back to me”.
“Blue rose”, repeated the prince, “It’s only appeared in fairy tales, isn’t it?”
“It’s real. See!” said Rose, “I will bring you to a person. He will tell you about its story”.
She led her toward the garden to meet Stupid.
“Stupid! Stupid! Where are you?” called Rose. No one answered her though he called hundreds of time. Stupid had vanished there was only his sprinkler standing by roses. No one but roses knew where Stupid was. Winds blew and roses started singing. They sing the song that told about a story: “Sincere love starts from the heart. Only the heart of a lover can created blue rose. Blue rose will create magic…”.
