The tale of Dracaena

Once upon a time, that was a man who was butcher. He lived in a house which was by pagoda. Everyday, a young monk was responsible for ringing the bell to hint monks got up and prayed. That time was also the time when the butcher got up, killed a pig. Day by day, the butcher accustomed to the bell then whenever the bell rang, he always got up to do his work.

One night, while an old monk was sleeping, a poor woman and five children appeared in his dream. They came front his face and kneeled down
“Please, save our lives! Save our lives”, said the woman.
The monk didn’t know what happened. He said:
“How can I save your lives.”

“Tomorrow, you only need ring the bell lately that will save our lives”, said the woman
The monk didn’t understand but he had no chance to ask the woman. The woman disappeared after saying. Although he didn’t understand he followed the woman’s works he didn’t request the young monk to ring the bell.
About the butcher, he didn’t listen the ring so he had slept until the sun rose so hight. That was too late to butcher a pig. He was so angry that he sprinted to the pagoda, blamed for monks. Then the old monk said him about his strange dream.
The butcher didn’t believe his story but when he had landed his feet the pigsty he saw the pig he had bought to butcher had born five piglets.
Yes, the butcher now understood what the monk had said. He saw his hands the hands had killed so many lives. He felt so sorry that made him bring his knife, sprinted to the pagoda to apologize. He punctured his knife down the front yard of agoda and promised that he would never kill another pig. 
Nobody knew what happened with the butcher after that but his knife transformed into a tree with red leaves. People now day call Dracaena.

Ngày xưa, ở làng Nam-xương có cô gái tên là Vũ Thị Thiết, người đã xinh đẹp lại thùy mị nết na. Nàng lấy chồng là Trương sinh vốn là người cùng làng. Sau khi chồng trẩy được mươi ngày thì Vũ Thị Thiết sinh được một đứa con trai, đặt tên là thằng Đản. Thằng bé sởn sơ mạnh khỏe, còn bà nội của nó vì nhớ con sinh ra đau ốm. Bài 9: Go + gerund

         Động từ “to go” là một động từ đặc biệt vì tự dưng theo nó lại có một số động từ ở dưới dạng V-ing (gerund). Thât ra thì mình chưa bao giờ thật sự muốn tìm hiểu xem gerund dịch ra tiếng viêt là gì chỉ biết rằng nó biểu thì cho tất cả động từ ở dang V-ing. Đấy, tự dưng theo sau go có mấy từ dở hơi như thế và bạn không biết những từ nào thuộc thành phần dở hơi ấy. Nên mình một lần nữa liệt kê cho các bạn. Nói thật hơi lười làm ví dụ vì đơn giản bản chỉ cần I go/ I went/ I + go (ở 12 thì bạn được học) + một từ thuộc nhóm dở hơi đấy là ra một câu rồi. Nên mình sẽ liệt kê và ghi nghĩa của từng từ cho bạn luôn. Thế nhé. À thật ra thì mình nói không biết gerund là gì là chém gió đây mình sẽ giải thích dễ hiểu như sau: đôi khi bạn gặp một V-ing nó sẽ có thể mang 1 trong 2 chức năng sau:

Tam and Cam

Once upon a time, there had a little girl named Tam. Her mother died early so her father decided to remarry on purpose the stepmother would take care of his little daughter. The stepmother gave birth to a girl, named Cam after that. Then, her father died after few years. Tam had to live with her stepmother and her sister, Cam. Nàng đã tồn tại, song nàng ngủ li bì, cho nên coi như không có nàng. Chỉ có sắc đẹp của nàng hiện lên qua nắp pha lê trong suốt, nhưng đó không phải là nét ưu của tính cách của nàng. Từ thuở nảo thuở nào nàng chìm trong giấc ngủ, những người tí hon tốt bụng đứng thành vòng tròn vây quanh nàng, chặn lối vào của lũ cướp và thú dữ. Họ biết rằng, chỉ có Hoàng tử Lãng du mới được quyền đến bên nàng. Có điều không biết chắc chắn Hoàng tử có đến hay không.
