The tale of great doctor

Once upon a time, a doctor lived in a village who was solid expertise that he could find out and cured all diseases. Besides, he was a kind, honest man so people who lived in the village loved and respected him very much. They called him Mr. doctor.

Meanwhile, a woman who lived in the village wanted to kill her husband to live with another man.
One day, her husband had flu. The woman thought immediately about buying poison for him. She went to meet the doctor and priced but the doctor, in another hand, didn’t agree though whatever price she gave him. He said he would never used medicine to harm everyone. The woman had never given up, she still gave prices higher and higher that made the doctor saw clearly the woman would never given up until her husband was dead. Therefore, the doctor gave her tonic and said that if her husband drank that medicine he would never woke up. The woman was very happy; she went home and Slow-cooked medicine. That was over doctor’s thinking as she was bringing bowl of medicine to her husband a poisonous centipede which was on the roof fell down the bowl so the husband was dead immediately after drinking.

Once the doctor heard his patient dead he was surprised. He spent many days to think why the man died but he couldn’t find out. Although the man had serious illnesses, he couldn’t die so fast like that. The story wasn’t found out but the doctor still felt sorry for the man’s death. He locked all his drawers of medicine, went to a river and swore: “I have worked as a doctor for ten years and never harmed a person but now a man was killed. God of water, please, see me. if keys came back me I will continue curing but if they won’t I will never cure anybody” then he threw keys down the water.
Some time later, a woman who was wife of a fisher was ready to bear but she was difficult birth. The fisher was worry he came to all doctor in the region but nobody dared to cure. At last, he had to come doctor’s house and prayed for helping. The doctor, now, was sleeping and a note was stuck on his door that he stopped curing but the fisher still tried to pray though the doctor had no noticing. When the doctor woke up he called his maid took a pot of water for washing but the fisher thought that he talked him to fall water down his wife. He came home immediately, took a pot of cold water fell down his face’s wife. As the woman who was painful and seem to be fainting was wet by cold water, she stood up immediately. Therefore, the child was born easily. People were very happy they thought that the doctor was great.
Next day, the fisher caught a lot fish. He chose a bigest fish, brought to the doctor to thank him. The doctor was surprised. He said: “I have stopped curing for a year. How could I help your wife bear? It is impossible.”
All though the fisher had talked whole story the doctor still refused the fish. The fisher continued insisting that made the doctor couldn’t refuse again. He said: “You cut this fish into two. I will take a half and you take the other back to cook for your wife and your child.”
One they had cut the fish. A strange thing appeared from stomach’s fish that was the keys he had thrown last years. The doctor was astonished he thought that the God want him to continue working as a doctor so he continued curing heartily until he died. All though people who had not money or who had fatal disease he still tried his best to saved their life . That made people who had lived in the village always remembered as a father. They called him old-father.

A  boy, named Tu Thuc, lived in Tran dynasty. He was offspring of a mandarin and was taught carefully. When he was 20 years old, he got passed all contests the king organized. Deeply  in forest where rarely people stepped   on there had a pond which were filled by cool clear water. The pond had never dried so that was where fairies used to gather. They often took water from the pond and sometime they waded in it to bath. And while they were bathing they always left their clothes on shore. Story 8: King Thanh Tong Ly

Prince   Nhat Ton was born in 1023 as his father was living as a prince who was chosen to be the next king. His father (later was Thai Tong Ly) lived in Long Duc palace.
